What I don’t …
What I don’t understand is if the type of the chord depends on the key that you’re in or if it’s just that same chord because of the position.. I’m thinking it’s a little bit of both, right?

I love those chords …
I love those chords, as much as I’m working on getting my grade 2 music theory I just screw around and am usually gravitated to chords with that sort of sound; which is awesome because as well as they sound, you can move around them very well and throw around the strumming pattern along with the shape to make different harmonies ring out :D give it a shot; all you can do is try — thanks for sharing these lovely chords

wow. the barred and …
wow. the barred and ‘open’ B chord have a completely different feel. each has its place, but one is not a substitute for the other. the bad news is that even tho barre chords can suck to play (just like an open F can) in order to play guitar you have to learn them. ie there is no short cut.

Shaungsxr March 9, 2010 at 10:56 am

if you’ve got fat …
if you’ve got fat pinkies (like me) and struggle with bar chords because of your fingers (like me) you can try and use your thumb rather than your index finger. works well for me
