I’m in a band and pretty much have no problem learning our songs or composing, but I don’t have a very extensive vocabulary when it comes to explaining chord shapes, like what’s open , barred, major , what’s a 3rd , 5th 7th etc…
Any one know any sites where I can learn this?
These two websites are extensively packed with tremendously helpful material for guitar players of widely varying skill levels. You may need to hunt around (especially on the Guitar Suite site, where there are dozens and dozens of excellent blue-letter sub-pages to explore), but you’ll definitely find what you’re looking for…and much more.
