This continues the study of the D minor Pentatonic scale with the root on the “A” string. here I show the Extension of the basic shape. Use this in conjunction with the E root and its extensions, and you are basically able to solo up and down the whole neck of the geeeetarrrrr.

ya it will apply, same notes, same frets, same strungs. Some stuff is easier to do with an electric, I have both electrics and acoustics, but for the last several months I have been playing just my acoustics and still working these lessons
