heey i really wanna learn to play guitar but dont know where to start, tried books but not so fun, cant afford guitar lessons help plz!
As the other guy said, you have to practice in order to learn. There is no magic pill that makes you play well, you have to practice, practice, practice. I’ve been playing the drums for many years and some years back got started with the guitar as well, and recently started learning the piano too!
That being said, I can relate to not having the patience to practice from books or even music teachers (in my case I wasn’t very lucky), there are a few good courses on the internet though. I got this one recommended from a friend a while back and still had it saved in my bookmarks. I used this course with good results, it’s pretty straightforward and even though it’s a little expensive it was worth it to me.

There is no "fast" way to learn the guitar, it takes a lot of practice.
Learn how to read chords and tabs and download some off the internet. Start slow and just practice everyday

What i did was…. I found out the first easy songs like mary had a little lamb, yankee doodle, twinkle twinkle, songs like that. THen i started to learn the chords. Am, Em, C, G, and D were my first. After i learned thoses, i Played the song Yellow Submarine by The Beatles. Also try Smoke on the Water, Iron Man, and Spirit in the Sky.
