BTW, Flea improvises a lot on the fills (and even the base line). It’s up to you to make it up, whatever sounds good! Soul To Squeeze, or the outro of Sir Psycho Sexy are great examples where you can improvise your heart out and ‘play like Flea’.

Well, it’s all transposition. As long as we’re all hitting the right notes. the differences will only be tonal. Everyone below seems to be playing it the same, just in different places! Do what sounds best to you man….:)

for the F note wouldn’t it be easier to play it on the 3rd fret on the D string, I find it easier there but very good video, I thought I had it right………….turns out I don’t hahaha
