This is my method that I created to teach my students how to play scales, and particularly, the major scale on the guitar. Its fast, easy, and fun. I teach it this way so the student can start improvising and composing melodies in different keys everywhere on the guitar neck right away. You need to know the notes of the neck to really enjoy this.

Thank you so much. Somebody that actually lays the major scales out in an easy to follow fashion, and shows how you can use it all over the neck. Your teaching style feels more like being tought by an actuall teacher in person rather than by a short video on youtube.

I very much like your method.I also watched the note location practice routine which i find much better than the traditional method of doing it. You definitely are a good teacher with a decent method of teaching.I would suggest you uploaded some videos to introduce yourself as a player as well which i m sure you must be a very good one!
