i really need help
im musical, i play the string bass, drums, and now this so i need some help but im catching on preety fast.
just pick songs you like and play them! Each song will teach you something new (a chord or riff). After doing that for a bit, learn some scales and tada! You can then play lead If you want to solo like a rock star practice a minor pentatonic scale.

How fast you can learn guitar depends on your musical skills that you were born with. Some people learn way faster than others. The best thing you can do is take lessons, and then you can refer to online lessons and help sites, or someone you know who plays guitar.

i taught myself how to play about six months ago. If you want to know the fastest way use tabs for simple stuff then progress. Recently I worked on chord progressions which since i had been playing for a while was easy. Truth is there is no fast way to learn, it takes time.
